Hi,
First off welcome to my first blog ever! This blog is meant for educational purposes, meaning i am being marked on my weekly entries. I am a BA student at the University of Guelph. This blog has been created for the THST*2450: Approaches to Media Studies class. In this blog I will be discussing my own views on media in all forms, and how it affects us and our very existence. I will also be attaching many interesting videos, and possibly pictures which I feel have significant messages to be taken into consideration. Feel free to leave me as many derogatory and discouraging messages as you like, just remember... big brothers watching. I'm just kidding, but seriously he is. I hope you find my blog interesting and enjoyable.

does this mean that your next post will make some kind of tangible reference to big brother and/or cultures of surveillance...? i'm happy to see you've started your blog. the only thing i would add here is that you give your blog an appropriate name, one that informs your own "approach(es) to media studies." you can make reference to the course in your "about" section.
